GAME DESIGN
Designing games is my main focus. During my studies I have gained experience in multiple discipline of game design such as content, level, UX and system design.
PROTOTYPING
For me, prototyping goes hand in hand with designing. I like to create small paper prototypes. However, dependig on what needs to be tested I also use excel, figma or inDesign to test my designs.
ORGANIZATION
While the universe strives for chaos, managing different aspects of work is important to me. It bringy me jox to have a neatly organized Gantt chart, Trello or Jira board.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
I am a very visual designer and like to sketch out my designs and ideas using pen and paper or illustrate on my tablet, illustrator or photoshop. I also like to apply principles for graphic design for level and UX design.
TEAMWORK
Teamwork makes the dream work.
While I can work independently as well, working together with likeminded, amazing and talented people to bounce ideas off of and get feedback keeps me motivated.
// ABOUT ME
​Hello! I’m Tamina, a game designer and student based in Cologne, Germany.
​
After being introduced to video games at a young age, I fell in love with the vast worlds, narrative experiences, and fun challenges that games offer. So when the question arose, "What do you want to do in the future?" I knew my answer: I wanted to bring fun into the world by making games! This passion led me to study game design at the Cologne Game Lab, where I successfully earned my Bachelor's degree in the summer of 2022. During my studies, I gained valuable experience working on professional projects as well as smaller student projects. I am currently pursuing a second degree in Media and Culture Studies at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf.

When I’m not gaming late into the night, I enjoy diving into adventurous D&D sessions with friends or curling up with my trusty feline companion and getting lost in science fiction novels.
